Chitkara University has concluded the second edition of the Amplify Leadership Series, a three-day residential leadership program for school and college educators, held on the University campus in Punjab from 26 to 28 June 2026. Building on the strong response to its inaugural edition, the Amplify Leadership Series brought together more than 300 educational leaders, including chairpersons, principals, vice principals, academic heads and teachers, who travelled from across the country, from Kerala to Kolkata, Amritsar to Ayodhya and Jammu to Jaipur, around the shared purpose of reimagining leadership for the future of education.

“When a program is asked to return before it has even ended, you know it has struck a chord,” said Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co founder, Chitkara University. “The Amplify Leadership Series was created to give educators a space to think, question and lead. To see leaders from every corner of the country come to Chitkara University for it, and leave asking when the next one will be, tells us we are building something that matters.”

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Sandhir Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University, whose address reflected on the changing role of the educator and the qualities that leadership in education now demands. The opening ceremony featured a live performance by the Swastik Band, setting a tone of energy and togetherness for the days that followed.

At the heart of the Amplify Leadership Series was a series of masterclasses led by distinguished practitioners, who worked with delegates on transformational leadership, effective communication, pedagogical innovation, agile education, collaboration and future-ready teaching practices. The sessions were designed to be practical and participative, giving educators frameworks and perspectives they could carry directly back into their own institutions.

As a residential program, the Amplify Leadership Series offered an experience that extended well beyond the sessions. The Campus Odyssey introduced delegates to the University’s culture, innovation ecosystem and vision for the future, while Sports Mania at the Sportorium underlined the idea that leadership is built through teamwork, resilience and trust. The cultural spirit of the program came alive through a Heritage Walk, an ethnic fashion showcase and a gala dinner celebrating the diversity of India’s living traditions. An evening of entertainment featured stand-up comedian Rajiv Thakur, widely recognised from The Kapil Sharma Show, whose performance was a reminder that humour and human connection have a place in leadership too.

The University’s student volunteers, who supported the program throughout, drew particular appreciation from delegates for their professionalism, warmth and commitment, and were widely described as ambassadors of the culture of service and hospitality that Chitkara University is known for.

The second edition of the Amplify Leadership Series concluded with a valedictory session, and by the final day a single question was being asked across the campus: when the third edition would take place. For an initiative still in its first year, that response stands as the clearest measure of its success. Chitkara University has indicated that further editions of the Amplify Leadership Series will follow.
