NCC cadets attend Annual Training Camp at Rupnagar

Since its inception at the University, NCC has been teaching soldering to many of our student volunteers. About 11 Cadets of Chitkara University Army Wing ‎NCC‬ attended the Annual Training Camp (ATC-’96) held at NCC ‪Training‬ Academy, Rupnagar (Ropar).
Apart from just learning things related to Army, Chitkara students bagged two medals and one trophy in the camp. Our cadets displayed excellent and outstanding performance and bagged:

• Best discipline Medal – Japneet Kaur (ECE)
• Solo Song first position – Rahul Nagpal (CSE)
• Drill Competition – Overall First Position (Trophy)

The camp provided an excellent learning opportunity to all the cadets to imbibe the qualities of a good leader like ‎self discipline‬, ‪‎motivation‬, social adaptability, cooperation, team work, turn out and how to live under tough conditions.
The cadets completed the ATC successfully and were applauded by the other cadets at the camp as well as the NCC battalion that carried out the camp.
