The Neelesh Misra Festival
Chitkara University is set to host The Neelesh Misra Festival from 12th October to 16th October 2026, bringing together storytelling, music and cinema through the original stories, songs and creative works of Neelesh Misra, renowned author, lyricist and storyteller. The festival will offer students and visitors an engaging cultural experience.
The festival program includes a Storytelling Workshop, a Filmmaking Workshop, film screenings and discussions, a Slow Mic, and a live performance by Neelesh Misra. Through these sessions, participants will have the opportunity to explore different forms of artistic expression, interact with accomplished creators, and gain valuable insights into the craft of storytelling and filmmaking.
By bringing together literature, music and cinema on a single platform, the festival highlights Chitkara University’s commitment to providing meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom. It aims to inspire fresh perspectives, encourage creative thinking, and foster a deeper appreciation for the arts among the university community.
