Global Engineering Week
Global Engineering Week at Chitkara University, Punjab, from November 11 to 15, 2013. This event will involve participation of erudite professors from various universities across the globe.
Chitkara University has strong international academic collaborations and the Global Engineering Week offers a unique opportunity to the students of Chitkara University to discover distinctive pedagogical styles and get precious information on studying or working in an international context.
During the Global Engineering Week, distinguished professors from partner universities will teach short-term courses on topics like Robotics & Research, Quantum Communication, Power Electronics, Lossless Data Compression, Mobile Robotics, Software Testing for Embedded Systems, Modern Wireless Technologies etc.
Lectures will be held throughout the week, every day from 10 am to 4 pm. All the courses taught by international professors are considered not only useful but also in demand by the prospective placement companies.
About 500 students from different streams of engineering will be a part of the Global Engineering Week. One of the highlights of GEW will be an exhibition of live projects by students of Chitkara Institute of Engineering and Technology on the theme of “Technology in India”.
