Film Festival for Visually Challenged Persons

Dear Alumni,

You are cordially invited for Film Festival for Visually Challenged Persons.
Chitkara University, Punjab, is hosting a unique film festival in association with Radio Mirchi Chandigarh 98.4FM on 22 & 23 October, 2016, in which around 500 visually challenged persons will have an opportunity to listen and enjoy the narration, soundtrack and music and songs of the films and visualize the scenes. The event will be conducted at Exploretorium.

‘PK’ and ‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’ have been identified for the screening as these films are not only entertaining and inspiring but also give lots of messages to the individual and society.

‘Kaano- Dekhi’ is the concept through which the effort is being made to take films to visually challenged persons. Speaking on this initiative, Chitkara University Vice -Chancellor Dr. Madhu Chitkara said that it will be the great event in which we will laugh and weep together as film is a powerful tool of mass communication and has always been very close to Indian audiences. She said that viewing films during these two days with visually challenged persons will be a great experience for all of us.
