Chitkara University gears up for Hackfest’25 – A National-Level Hackathon in Association with SAP Labs India

Chitkara University is all set to host Hackfest’25, a prestigious National-Level Hackathon, in association with SAP Labs India Pvt. Ltd. The regional round of this high-stakes competition will take place on 6th May 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM at the Chitkara University’s Punjab campus.

Hackfest’25 invites the brightest young minds from across the country to tackle pressing challenges through innovation and technological creativity. This year’s Hackathon focuses on three compelling themes: Sustainable Business, Preventing Digital Fraud, and Ethics in AI Models for Business. Participants will brainstorm and build solutions that can drive meaningful impact in these critical areas.

The competition structure includes multiple rounds—starting with the Regional Round at Chitkara University, followed by the State Hub Round, the SAP Round, and culminating in the Final Round. Each stage is designed to progressively test the innovation, coding skills, and practical application of technology by the participants.

Hackfest’25 also brings with it an exciting opportunity to win big. The prize pool for the final round includes ₹1,50,000 for the first-place winner, ₹1,00,000 for the second-place, and ₹50,000 for the third-place team, making it not only intellectually rewarding but also financially motivating.
