DummyTo be recognized as a centre of excellence in Electronics and Communication Engineering education and research, fostering innovation and advancing sustainable technological progress to address societal needs.

My time in the ECE program did more than teach me circuits; it taught me how to solve real-world problems. The hands-on labs at Chitkara were where theory met practice, and that direct experience was exactly what Bosch was looking for during my interview. I’m thrilled to start my career here, built on a very practical foundation.

For me, the defining feature of Chitkara was the supportive mentorship. My professors invested time not only in teaching but also in counseling, helping me chart a course specifically for the semiconductor field. The comprehensive preparation through the ECE department’s CPM module, including its detailed technical mock interviews, was pivotal. This preparation transformed my mindset from hopeful aspiration to quiet assurance as I stepped into NXP.

The project-based learning model at Chitkara was a game-changer. Working on collaborative, semester-long projects mirrored the teamwork I now experience at Siemens. It taught me how to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly—a skill my managers have already commended. The university’s focus on applicable skills truly shaped my professional approach.

As a student passionate about embedded systems, I found my niche through university-led workshops and guest lectures from industry leaders. Chitkara’s ecosystem allowed me to tinker, build, and iterate on my own projects. This portfolio of practical work became the centerpiece of my interviews and was key to landing my role at Silicon Labs.

Transitioning into my role at Dell felt like a natural next step, thanks to the professional ecosystem Chitkara fosters. The university thoughtfully bridges campus life with the corporate world through initiatives like presentation skills workshops and structured internships. I am especially grateful for the persistent soft-skills training and guidance from the CPM module in the ECE department, which built the confidence I needed to secure this wonderful opportunity.

The constant “industry connect” initiatives—from site visits to live problem statements—gave me a clear vision of where I wanted to be. Chitkara’s curriculum is dynamic, constantly updated with industry trends, which made my technical interviews with Micron feel like a discussion, not an interrogation. I felt like a professional-in-training, not just a student.

My batch navigated unique challenges, yet we never felt alone in our career aspirations. I am deeply grateful for how the CPM module in the ECE department adapted with such care, organizing essential virtual networking events and one-on-one resume guidance. My faculty mentor’s generous extra support was a heartfelt reminder of Chitkara’s unwavering commitment to seeing every student succeed, no matter the circumstances.

For me, it was the emphasis on research and innovation that made the difference. Participating in university-sponsored research projects allowed me to dive deep into memory technologies, which directly aligned with Micron’s work. Chitkara provided the platform to explore my specific interest, which ultimately defined my career launch.

What I valued most was how Chitkara inspired me to broaden my academic horizons. By pursuing electives in VLSI design, I was able to weave together different strands of knowledge, enriching my core education. This more complete perspective became my strength in interviews with NXP, where I could share both my specialized aptitude and my approach to multifaceted challenges.
