DummyTo be recognized as a centre of excellence in Electronics and Communication Engineering education and research, fostering innovation and advancing sustainable technological progress to address societal needs.
The Code Experience Centre powered by Capgemini has been established as a Centre of Excellence at Chitkara University, Punjab, with the objective of equipping students with industry-ready software competencies and significantly enhancing their employability. The state-of-the-art facility provides experiential learning through hands-on training in emerging technologies, participation in live projects, and structured learning pathways that are closely aligned with contemporary industry requirements. Conceived collaboratively by the leadership of Chitkara University and senior Capgemini executives, this Centre of Excellence further reinforces a long-standing partnership that has consistently created strong placement avenues for students. As a specialised Code Experience Centre, it operates as an innovation hub where selected students receive direct mentorship from industry experts, while successive cohorts gain exposure to authentic, real-world project environments. Embedded within Chitkara University’s broader ecosystem of academic excellence and industry engagement, the Centre is designed to prepare graduates for dynamic roles in the software and IT sectors by systematically bridging the gap between classroom learning and cutting-edge professional practice.
The Centre for High Frequency and High-Power Research Laboratory at Chitkara University, Punjab, is a specialised facility for advanced research and training in RF, microwave, and high-power electronics. The laboratory features a high-performance anechoic chamber with dual-ridge broadband horn antennas (800 MHz–40 GHz), precision vector network analyzers, and dedicated setups for antenna characterisation, EMI/EMC studies, and dielectric measurements at high frequencies.
The Centre, supported under the DST-FIST programme offers a comprehensive suite of services spanning training, measurement, design, and research support. Key facilitates include hands-on workshops on antenna testing and characterization, high-frequency dielectric measurement, and S‑band antenna design-to-prototype workflows, enabling participants to work directly with industry-grade RF and microwave instrumentation. The laboratory also provides advanced electromagnetic simulation services using ANSYS 2024 R1 (HFSS) for the design, optimisation, and validation of complex RF, antenna, and microwave structures.
The KPIT Centre of Mobility, Centre of Excellence at Chitkara University, Punjab, is dedicated to advanced training and applied research in next-generation automotive systems. The Centre focuses on embedded system development, where students work on real-time automotive software, microcontroller programming, and ECU design for modern vehicles. It provides extensive hands-on exposure to in-vehicle communication through CAN and LIN protocols, enabling learners to design and validate efficient, robust networking architectures. In the domain of autonomous and electric vehicle technologies, the Centre supports research in ADAS, battery management systems, and power electronics, aligning academic work with contemporary industry priorities. The facility also emphasizes rigorous simulation and testing practices, leveraging MATLAB, Simulink, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) platforms for end-to-end automotive software modelling, verification, and validation. By integrating theory, tools, and real-world use cases, the KPIT Centre of Mobility prepares students for high-impact roles in the evolving mobility and automotive software ecosystem.
