Radio Chitkara airs talk on ‘Raising Awareness of the Need to Preserve the Environment’
It was time to spread the importance of preserving the environment. Radio Chitkara 107.8 FM aired a talk on ‘Raising Awareness of the Need to Preserve the Environment.’
World Environment Day (WED) was observed to raise various environmental concerns. The official slogan for the year 2014 is ‘Raise Your Voice, Not The Sea Level’.
Keeping in mind the slogan of the year, Dr Charu Khosla and Dr Jyotsna Kaushal raised their Voice for: “ GHAR KI ECO –FRIENDLY AADTEIN ” and “JANIYE APNA WATER FOOTPRINT”.
Everything from food and clothes to cars and computers; require significant quantities of water, even the products we buy ,the energy we consume and even the water we save when we go for recycling .Though we may not drink, feel or see this virtual water, but it makes up the majority of our water footprint.
And, regarding ‘Ghar ki eco friendly aadtein’, people around the globe want to live in a home that is healthier, safer and cheaper for them and benefits the environment. So, certain important tips were given and discussions about Green choices in the building or remodeling homes in eco friendly products remained as the key features of the talk.
