The Chitkara University startup ecosystem has crossed a new funding threshold, with its ventures collectively raising more than ₹100 crore in follow-on funding. The development reflects the continued progress of startups that have emerged from the university’s innovation ecosystem and attracted additional investment as their businesses have developed.

The funding represents capital secured by startups after their initial rounds of investment, enabling them to continue developing their businesses and pursue opportunities for scale. The cumulative figure brings together follow-on funding raised by ventures supported through the university’s startup ecosystem.

The startups have been built with support from the Chitkara Innovation and Incubation Foundation (CIIF), which forms part of the university’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. Their subsequent funding rounds reflect their progression as businesses and their ability to attract further investment.

Commenting on the development, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “The follow-on funding secured by our startups reflects the confidence investors place in these ventures and the work of their founders. It is also an important measure of their progress beyond the early stages and the support they have received through the university’s innovation ecosystem.”

The ₹100 crore milestone adds to the university’s efforts to support entrepreneurship by providing founders with an ecosystem through which they can develop their ideas and build ventures. Through CIIF, Chitkara University continues to support startups as they move from early-stage development towards establishing and growing their businesses.
