Chitkara University signs MoU with Ind-Swift Laboratories for Industry-Linked Learning

Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara Universityy, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ind-Swift Laboratories Ltd. to connect academic learning with pharmaceutical industry practice. The association will offer students opportunities for internships, industrial training, skill-building initiatives, research, professional mentoring and knowledge exchange.

Students will also have opportunities to learn about contemporary pharmaceutical practices, evidence-based healthcare and changing requirements within the industry. The association will give them a closer understanding of professional practices and the working environment of the pharmaceutical sector.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “Industry engagement is an important part of preparing students for professional practice. Collaborations such as this allow students to understand how their academic learning connects with the requirements and practices of the pharmaceutical sector.”

The MoU will also facilitate interaction between students and industry professionals, along with opportunities to participate in activities related to pharmaceutical education and research. It brings academic learning and industry experience together as part of students’ education in pharmacy.

The association is part of Chitkara College of Pharmacy’s efforts to give students opportunities to engage with the pharmaceutical industry during their academic journey.
