The Chitkara Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CCIE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SilverX Fund to establish a structured investor–startup bridge for Deep Tech ventures at Chitkara University. The MoU was signed during the visit of Ajay Jain, Founder & Managing Partner, SilverX Fund, to the University.
SilverX Fund is a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) investing in Deep Tech areas including AI infrastructure, quantum computing, semiconductors, advanced materials, space, defence, robotics and autonomous systems. Under the partnership, founders will have opportunities to engage with investors through Investor-in-Residence sessions and office hours, joint demo and pitch days and Deep Tech forums.
Commenting on the collaboration, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “Deep Tech ventures need access to the right combination of research, industry knowledge and capital. This collaboration with SilverX Fund provides a structured platform for our founders to engage with investors while continuing to develop their ideas within the university ecosystem.”
The partnership will also include collaborative research and thought leadership, a dedicated Deep Tech Accelerator Program and a Healthcare/HealthTech Innovation Centre. These initiatives will bring together founders, researchers and investors around emerging technologies and their applications.
The MoU adds a structured investor engagement layer to CCIE’s entrepreneurship activities, creating avenues for startups and researchers to connect with investment opportunities while developing Deep Tech solutions at the University.
