Chitkara University joins Global Dialogue on AI-First Universities at Google

Chitkara University participated in the Executive Briefing Connect (EBC) on “AI-First Universities: Global Vision for Indian Universities and Educational Startups”, hosted at Google Headquarters in Mountain View as part of the Digital Campus on Google Cloud 4.0 program. The two-day briefing brought together academic leaders, Vice-Chancellors and EdTech innovators from across India to examine the role of artificial intelligence in higher education.

Dr. Niyati Chitkara, Vice President, Chitkara International Schools joined the delegation for strategic dialogue and knowledge exchange. Discussions covered AI, Google Gemini Enterprise, data foundations and responsible AI governance, with sessions examining applications in personalised learning, research acceleration, intelligent campus operations and student success.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “AI adoption in higher education requires careful consideration of how technology, data and governance come together. Discussions such as these are useful in understanding how universities can apply AI responsibly while keeping academic and student needs at the centre.”

The visit also included engagements at the Google Mountain View Campus and Visitor Experience Centre, NASA Ames Research Centre and Stanford University, providing perspectives on innovation, research and emerging approaches to education.

The participation forms part of Chitkara University’s focus on AI-led and industry-connected higher education, with attention to responsible, inclusive and human-centred use of technology across academic and institutional settings.
