Chitkara University students win Capgemini Exceller AgentifAI Buildathon 2026

A student team from Chitkara University, “Just A Girl”, won the Capgemini Exceller AgentifAI Buildathon 2026, held in Pune, competing against more than 50,000 participants from over 50 colleges across India.

The Grand Finale brought together students working on applications of AI and Agentic AI, with teams presenting solutions developed through creativity, collaboration and problem-solving. The Chitkara University team emerged as the winner at the national-level event.

Commenting on the achievement, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “Participation in challenges such as the AgentifAI Buildathon gives students an opportunity to work with emerging technologies in a practical setting. The experience of developing and presenting a solution alongside students from institutions across the country is valuable in its own right.”

The Buildathon gave students an opportunity to experiment with emerging technologies and develop solutions in a competitive setting. For the Chitkara University team, the event provided an avenue to apply their ideas and engage with peers from institutions across the country.
