Chitkara University highlights AI‑Ready Learning at ET Education Roundtable

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, participated in the ET Education Roundtable on ‘Reimagining Higher Education with Live, Industry-Aligned Digital Skills’, where she shared her views on preparing learners for an AI-driven future. The roundtable brought together education leaders to discuss how higher education can help students develop the skills needed for a changing digital world.

During the discussion, Dr. Chitkara said that higher education must go beyond teaching knowledge and help students learn how to use AI, data and digital technologies to solve real-world problems. She said that students also need critical thinking, ethical decision-making, creativity, collaboration and adaptability to succeed in the future.

“As AI continues to change the way we live and work, universities have a responsibility to help students use technology with understanding and responsibility. This means creating learning experiences where technical skills go hand in hand with critical thinking, ethical judgement and the ability to work across disciplines to solve real-world problems,” said Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University.

Dr. Chitkara also spoke about how Chitkara University is creating a future-ready learning environment through industry-supported Centres of Excellence, advanced digital laboratories, AI-integrated curricula, knowledge partnerships with EY India, Google Cloud, Cisco, Siemens, Infosys, Capgemini and other global industry leaders, along with live industry projects, hackathons, innovation and incubation ecosystems and interdisciplinary learning experiences.
