Chitkara University hosts celebration of literature and creative expression

Chitkara University hosted Lit Fair 2.0, a two-day celebration of literature, debate and creative expression organised by the C2S2 Literyllis Club and Eventure Club. The event brought together students through literary competitions, discussions, performances and interactive activities centred on reading, writing, debate and the arts.

The fair featured a range of literary competitions and creative activities that gave students opportunities to participate in debate, public speaking, storytelling, artistic collaboration and critical thinking. The concluding sessions included the presentation of awards for Best Delegate, Best Accommodation and two Verbal Mentions, alongside the felicitation of winners across various competitions.

Taza Khabaar turned locations across the campus into a live newsroom, while Chakravyuh, a campus-wide murder mystery, engaged students in solving clues spread throughout the university. Square 1 hosted themed canopies with reading corners, interactive stalls, mini games and a photo booth throughout the event.

The celebrations also marked the second anniversary of Alfaaz with an evening of poetry, music, storytelling and artistic performances. Winners across events, including Plot & Palette and Lit Check, received trophies, certificates and rewards, while Alfaaz participants were presented with goodies. All participants will receive e‑certificates in recognition of their contribution.

The event concluded with a Jamming Night presented by C2S2 Dhwani ahead of the upcoming Neelesh Misra Festival. Lit Fair 2.0 formed part of Chitkara University’s ongoing efforts to provide students with platforms for literary engagement, creative expression and dialogue beyond the classroom.
