Chitkara University among India’s top engineering institutions in TIMES Rankings 2026
Chitkara University has achieved notable positions in the TIMES Engineering Rankings 2026, securing the 18th spot among the Top 175 Engineering Institutes in India and the 17th spot among the Top 125 Private Engineering Institutes. The latest results place the University among the country’s leading institutions for engineering studies.
The University has also secured the 12th position in India among the Top 70 Private Institutes for Placements and among the Top 30 Institutes for Research Capability. In the regional category, Chitkara University has been ranked 6th in North India among the Top 25 Engineering Institutes.
The assessment recognises institutions for their performance across academics, research, industry collaboration, and student outcomes. Chitkara University’s strong showing across multiple categories acknowledges the contributions of its faculty, researchers, students, alumni, and industry collaborators.
