Chitkara University Student Wins Double Gold at All India Inter University Cycling Meet

Harshita Jakhar, a first-year BBA student at Chitkara University, won two gold medals at the All India Inter University Cycling Road Tournament 2025–26, held at MGM University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.

She competed in the women’s category and won gold in both the Individual Time Trial and the Road Race events. She was also named Best Cyclist (Women) and finished as the Overall First Runner-Up.

The tournament brought together cyclists from universities across the country, competing in different road events over four days.

Harshita’s achievement adds to Chitkara University’s participation in inter-university sports, where students take part in competitions while continuing their academic studies.
