Centre of Excellence in Supply Chain and Logistics at Chitkara Business School organised National Symposium 5.0 at Chitkara University, bringing together industry leaders to discuss global trade challenges and the growing role of artificial intelligence in supply chains.

The symposium featured participation from Neeraj Bansal (KPMG), Sanjiv Garg (CILT India), Ajay Verma, Chief Executive Officer, Chandigarh International Airport Ltd; Jitendra Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer, Triton Logistics & Maritime; Ashish Tripathi (SDHI); Jagjit Singh Kohli (Kuehne+Nagel); Mahesh Gupta (DS Group); Arvind Sharma (Fresenius Medical Care); Rohit Parvatikar (Capgemini); Nitin Sharma (Motherson HML); and Anish Goel (Reckitt).

The discussions brought together perspectives from consulting, logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. The conversations focused on how businesses are responding to changing global trade conditions and the increasing use of digital tools, data, and AI in supply chain operations. Speakers shared insights on managing uncertainty, improving efficiency, and adapting to new demands in a complex global environment.

The symposium formed part of Chitkara University’s ongoing academic initiatives to connect industry experience with classroom learning and encourage dialogue on current business challenges.
