The memorandum of understanding was signed by Vineet Tuli, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Strategy) at Chitkara University, and Dr. Samuel Miller, Executive Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology at Macquarie University. The signing marks a step in expanding higher education links between India and Australia.

The partnership focuses on aligning academic requirements and curricula to make student transfers more straightforward. It also aims to give students the opportunity to experience different academic systems and cultures as part of their education.
