Chitkara University Celebrates Baisakhi With Student Dance Event

Chitkara University hosted a folk dance competition to commemorate the festival of Baisakhi. The event brought together a large number of students who presented traditional performances reflecting regional dance forms and cultural themes.

Organised by the Office of Student Affairs, the competition featured solo and duet categories, with participants showcasing their talent through a range of folk traditions. An experienced panel evaluated the performances, and winners were recognised with tokens of appreciation, while all participants received certificates.

The celebration formed part of the university’s student activity calendar, providing opportunities for cultural participation alongside academic engagement.
