Chitkara University Sports Board Hosts Second Edition of Pickleball Tournament

The Chitkara University Sports Board organised the second edition of the Chitkara Pickleball Tournament, bringing together students and staff for a day of competitive matches on campus.

Participants competed across several rounds featuring closely contested rallies and engaging matchups. The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from members of the university community, reflecting the sport’s growing presence on campus.

In the women’s doubles category, Rushali Choudhary and Payal Bansal secured first place, followed by Jasmeet Kaur and Harshita Garg in second place. Arshpreet Kaur and Riya finished third. In the men’s doubles category, Anirudh and Aditya Vasu emerged as winners, with Vraj Prajapati and Divam finishing second and Anmol and Vansh securing third place.

In the men’s staff doubles category, Abhimanyu Gulati and Nasim Sahin secured first place, followed by Harinder Pal Singh and Barbreek in second place, while Gaurav and Vishal finished third.

Events such as the Pickleball Tournament form part of ongoing initiatives to encourage student and staff participation in sports and organised physical activities at Chitkara University.
