Chitkara University Brings Investors and Agri-Tech Startups Together at DemoDay 2026

Chitkara University hosted DemoDay 2026 – Chitkara Xcelerator under the Department of Science and Technology’s NIDHI Accelerator Program, bringing together Agri-Tech startups, investors, and mentors on a single platform focused on advancing innovation in agriculture. The event provided an opportunity for founders to present their ventures and engage directly with members of the investment community.

The event featured a cohort of Agri-Tech startups supported through the Chitkara Xcelerator accelerator initiative. Founders showcased their products and business models to investors and industry participants, opening discussions around technology-led solutions addressing challenges across the agricultural value chain.

Several startups received on-the-spot investment commitments during the event. These interactions highlighted growing investor interest in early-stage Agri-Tech ventures and reflected the role of accelerator programs in connecting emerging enterprises with funding and mentorship.
