Chitkara University Wins Three Golds at Inter-University Track Cycling Championship

Student cyclists from Chitkara University recorded three gold medals and one bronze medal at the All India Inter-University Track Cycling Championship 2025–26 held at Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar from 21 to 24 February 2026. The university also secured the Overall Second Runner-up Trophy in the Women’s Track Cycling Championship.

Harshita Jakhar, a first-year BBA student, delivered a strong performance in the women’s events, winning the gold medal in the 4 km Individual Pursuit and another gold medal in the 20 km Point Race.

In the men’s category, Aditya Jakhar, also a first-year BBA student, secured the gold medal in the 1 km Individual Time Trial and won a bronze medal in the Sprint event.

Chitkara University finished the championship with three gold medals and one bronze, while the women’s team secured the Overall Second Runner-up position.
