Chitkara University Features in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026
Chitkara University has been recognised in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, with rankings in three disciplines: Pharmacy & Pharmacology, Computer Science & Information Systems, and Business & Management Studies.
In Pharmacy & Pharmacology, the University is ranked in the 251–300 band globally and 12th in India. In Computer Science & Information Systems, it is placed in the 451–500 band globally and 22nd in India. Business & Management Studies is also ranked in the 451–500 band worldwide, with a national position of 23.
These rankings reflect the University’s academic work and its engagement with industry in these subject areas. The presence of three disciplines in this year’s rankings highlights the range of teaching and research activity taking place across the institution.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject assess universities in individual disciplines using indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, research output, and citations.
The latest rankings add to Chitkara University’s presence in global academic evaluations and reflect its continued work in teaching, research, and collaboration across key areas of study.
