Emergence’26 Brings India’s Founders and Creative Voices to Chitkara University
Chitkara University hosted Emergence’26, a three-day event centred on entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation. The event brought together founders, creators and professionals from different industries to interact with students through a series of talks, panel discussions and interactive sessions. Around 1,200 to 1,500 students from across academic disciplines attended the event.
The program featured Ashwin Mushran, actor and voice coach; Vatsal Sheth, actor, director and Founder CEO of Prismix Studios; Anubhav Dubey, Co-Founder of Chai Sutta Bar; Sanjay Gupta of Raj Comics; and Sahil Nayar, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of Prismix. A key segment of the event was the 100 Crore Club panel moderated by Malhar Potnis, which brought together entrepreneurs Jital Shah, Shripad Kher, Jaydeep Bhatwadekar, Kalpana Bhatwadekar and Saurabh Patwardhan as part of a discussion on entrepreneurship and business growth.
Startup pitch presentations, masterclasses and the Makers’ Buildathon were also organised as part of the event. These sessions provided students with opportunities to present ideas, collaborate on projects and engage directly with speakers through discussions and informal interactions.
Events such as Emergence’26 form part of Chitkara University’s broader academic engagement initiatives, providing students with exposure to industry practitioners and diverse professional perspectives alongside their classroom learning.
