Chitkara University Co-Organises Global Conference on AI and Sustainability

The Technology Enabling Centre at Chitkara University, supported by the Department of Science and Technology, co-organised the Global Conference on AI-Driven Sustainable Technologies and Higher Education Innovation in Pune.
Held in collaboration with Confab 360 Degree, Kirloskar Institute of Management, and Rushford Business School, the event brought together over 200 delegates from eight countries, including industry leaders, researchers and policymakers. Through keynote addresses, panel discussions and structured industry–academia interactions, participants examined the role of Artificial Intelligence in sustainable technologies and higher education.
The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Chandrasekhar Buddha, CEO of Anuvadini AI at the Ministry of Education, Government of India, who spoke about the importance of skill development and the creation of a global knowledge repository to support the responsible deployment of emerging technologies.
The conference was supported by industry partners including the Services Export Promotion Council and the Association of Business Women in Commerce and Industry (ABWCI).
Through its Technology Enabling Centre and continued collaboration with national and international partners, Chitkara University remains engaged in initiatives that connect research, innovation and higher education with emerging technological priorities.
