The Department of Computer Applications at Chitkara University hosted Let’s Talk, a counselling awareness drive organised under the aegis of the National Service Scheme. Held for students of the BCA 2025 batch, the initiative focused on building awareness of the role counselling plays in supporting student life.

The session was led by Charanjeet Kaur, Senior Student Counsellor, who, along with her team, engaged with students on issues commonly faced during undergraduate study. Discussions covered academic stress, peer pressure, time management challenges, and aspects of emotional well-being, with an emphasis on how counselling support can help students address these concerns.

Structured as an interactive engagement, the drive encouraged students to share their views, raise questions, and consider practical coping strategies. The session highlighted the importance of recognising early signs of stress and seeking professional help when needed, while also reinforcing counselling as an accessible support service on campus.

The drive reflects the university’s continued efforts, through academic departments and NSS-led initiatives, to integrate student well-being into the broader academic environment alongside formal learning.
