Reflecting the strength of its teaching, scholarship, and institutional vision, the University has been ranked No. 1 in India in Education Studies and No. 5 in India in Engineering, placing it among the country’s leading institutions in these disciplines.
In addition to its national performance, Chitkara University has also established a strong international footprint across multiple subject areas. The University has been placed in the 301–400 global band for Education Studies, the 401–500 band for Engineering, the 501–600 band for Business & Economics and Computer Science, and the 601–800 band for Medical & Health. These results reflect consistent progress in academic rigour, research output, and global engagement.
The Times Higher Education Subject Rankings evaluate universities worldwide based on a comprehensive methodology that includes teaching quality, research environment, research impact, international outlook, and industry engagement.
