Chitkara University has achieved significant recognition in the Times Higher Education (THE) Subject Rankings 2026, marking an important milestone in its academic and research journey. Reflecting the strength of its teaching, scholarship, and institutional vision, the University has been ranked No. 1 in India in Education Studies and No. 5 in India in Engineering, placing it among the country’s leading institutions in these disciplines.
In addition to its national performance, Chitkara University has also established a strong international footprint across multiple subject areas. The University has been placed in the 301–400 global band for Education Studies, the 401–500 band for Engineering, the 501–600 band for Business & Economics and Computer Science, and the 601–800 band for Medical & Health. These results reflect consistent progress in academic rigour, research output, and global engagement.
The Times Higher Education Subject Rankings evaluate universities worldwide based on a comprehensive methodology that includes teaching quality, research environment, research impact, international outlook, and industry engagement.
