Chitkara University Crowned Champions at North Zone Inter-University Women’s Badminton Championship

Chitkara University’s women’s badminton team dominated the North Zone Inter-University Women’s Badminton Championship, held at CT University, Ludhiana, from 10th to 14th December 2025, clinching the title with flawless performances. The team progressed confidently through the tournament, starting with a commanding 2-0 victory over University of Delhi in the quarterfinal.

In the Round Robin League, Chitkara showcased unstoppable form by defeating CT University 2-0 in the first match and Panjab University 2-0 in the second, securing their spot in the final. The championship climax saw Chitkara triumph over Lovely University 2-0, earning the top honours and bringing glory to the university.

The victorious team was honorer by AIU Observer Mr. Sobti from Kurukshetra University, recognising their skill, teamwork and dedication. This triumph highlights Chitkara’s commitment to nurturing elite athletic talent alongside academics, inspiring the campus community with yet another national-level achievement.
