Chitkara University Marks World Mental Health Day 2025

Chitkara Happiness Centre, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Chitkara School of Psychology, celebrated World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2025 at the Newton Front area. The event aimed to raise awareness about mental well-being and create a supportive environment for students.
Students engaged in a variety of activities across creatively themed zones. The Games Zone offered “Go with the Flow” and “Emotional Adventure” to promote relaxation and emotional awareness. The Gratitude Oasis encouraged positivity through the Wishing Well and Thank You Giving Letter. Patel’s Zone of Self Love featured Bandhanvaar making, face painting and the Self Love Studio and Corner, allowing students to embrace individuality and self-appreciation. Mindful Heaven provided a calming space with a Mindful Tunnel and nature-inspired mindfulness activities, while the Joy Vibes Only Zone hosted a “Run for Awareness” to promote mental health consciousness.
Additional activities included taking a pledge to prioritise mental health and participating in the Kalpvarksha Thumb Paint activity, a creative expression of positivity and hope. The occasion was graced by the chief guest, Smt. Kamal Sisodiya, SSP, CRPF, who emphasised the significance of mental health awareness. The event highlighted the university’s commitment to nurturing holistic well-being among its students.
