Freshers Party Lights Up Chitkara University
On 30th September 2025, Chitkara University, Punjab welcomed its newest batch with the vibrant Fresher’s Evening: Bienvenue – From Roots to Routes. The event was a celebration of arrival, belonging and the journey ahead, capturing the spirit of new beginnings and the promise of transformation.
Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, graced the occasion with her presence, filling the air with encouragement and warmth. The stage, alive with colour and anticipation, became a bridge connecting students’ pasts to their futures. Each round of the evening carried a deeper meaning, inviting reflection and marking the start of cherished memories.
The Hometown to Hallway segment saw participants walk the ramp with quiet pride, their attire reflecting the rivers, cities, languages and dreams they carried from home. Vive La Voice encouraged thoughtful answers, prompting students to share their beliefs, values and visions. The event was further enlivened by performances from C2S2 clubs, Natraj’s classical grace, Custody’s energetic beats and the Bhangra Regiment’s infectious rhythm, uniting the audience in celebration.
As the evening concluded, Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara presented titles such as Mr./Ms. Chitkara, Mr./Ms. Traditions of Tomorrow, Mr./Ms. Chitkarian Passport Award, Mr./Ms. Voyage and Mr./Ms. Odyssey.
