Chitkara University Welcomes Freshers with Spectacular Sunburn Campus 2025 Festivities

Chitkara University welcomed its newest batch of students with the Sunburn Campus Freshers’ Party 2025, a grand spectacle that blended music, entertainment, and youthful energy into an unforgettable celebration. It was not just an event, but a vibrant festival of ideas, creativity, and camaraderie that reflected the spirit of Chitkara’s dynamic student community.

The day began with a vibrant flea market, where students showcased their creativity, startups, and innovative ideas, alongside a mini talent stage hosted by student clubs that gave freshers the perfect chance to display their skills. Adding a unique spark, the motor show featuring sports cars, tanks, and superbikes drew massive excitement and became one of the most talked-about attractions of the day, leaving the crowd in awe of its grandeur.

As the evening unfolded, the stage lit up with dazzling student performances and the much-awaited Mr. & Miss Chitkara contest. Brimming with confidence, charisma, and flair, the winners were later felicitated by Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, making it a proud and memorable moment for all, as cheers and applause filled the arena.

The highlight of the night was the Sunburn DJ line-up, featuring DJ Prerak, Ola Ras, and DJ Maskbox, who transformed the campus into a pulsating sea of lights, beats, and energy. The atmosphere soared higher with stand-up comedian Vivek Samtani’s witty acts and the infectious charm of celebrity host Akashdeep Narula, who kept the audience on their feet with unmatched enthusiasm.

With over 15,000 students joining in the festivities, the Freshers’ Party truly lived up to its theme of being A Night to Remember. Seamlessly executed by Chitkara University in collaboration with OPA Events, the grand celebration marked a perfect beginning to the new academic journey for Chitkara’s freshers, leaving them with cherished memories and a powerful sense of belonging.
