Chitkara College of Pharmacy Hosts Khelanand Mela 2025 Celebrating Sportsmanship and Talent

Chitkara College of Pharmacy in collaboration with the Chitkara University Sports Board successfully organised Khelanand Mela 2025, an annual sporting event that brought together students to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship, competition and camaraderie. The event featured a variety of indoor and outdoor games that tested both skill and strategy, while also creating opportunities for students to showcase their sporting abilities beyond the classroom.
The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation with players demonstrating discipline, focus and resilience. In badminton, Akhil Sharma emerged as the winner in the men’s category with Aryan Chauhan as runner up, while Deeya claimed the women’s title followed by Garima Kapil as runner up. Chess saw a close contest where Rythm secured the top position and Yuvraj finished second. Carrom provided another highlight with Kunal winning the event and Yash finishing as runner up.
The dart competition brought thrilling moments with Rohit Verma taking the men’s title and SM Abrar finishing second. In the women’s category, Money Mittal secured the top spot while Jasmine Kaur Sejwal followed as runner up. Pickleball, a sport growing in popularity among students, also featured competitive matches. Akhil won the men’s event with Parv Batra as runner up, while Ritika emerged as the women’s winner with Taruna in second place.
Khelanand Mela 2025 reinforced the role of sports in building teamwork, confidence and holistic development. By providing a platform where students could display their skills across multiple disciplines, the event highlighted Chitkara University’s commitment to promoting physical fitness, competitive spirit and all-round growth among its students.
