Arm Wrestling Championship at Chitkara University Draws Strong Participation and Excitement

The CSE Sports Club in collaboration with the University Sports Board organized an Arm-Wrestling Tournament at Chitkara University. The event drew widespread enthusiasm with more than 100 students participating, showcasing strength, endurance and determination across four competitive weight categories.

The tournament created an electrifying atmosphere with students cheering on their peers, adding to the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship on campus. Each match reflected the participants’ commitment to physical fitness and discipline, turning the event into a true celebration of student energy and competitive spirit.

In the 55–65 kg category, Sanyam Garg secured the winner’s position with Ramanpreet Singh as runner up. The 65–75 kg category saw Pathikadarsh clinch the top spot followed by Rachit in second place. In the 75–85 kg category, Mohit Sehrawat emerged victorious with Vansh Vashishth as runner up. The 85+ kg category concluded with Aryaman claiming the winner’s title and Vinayak Soni finishing second.

Beyond the competition, the tournament served as a reminder of the role sports play in encouraging holistic student development.
