Chitkara Business School Partners with IIM Ahmedabad to Shape the Next Generation of Global Leaders

Chitkara University proudly announces a significant academic collaboration between Chitkara Business School and IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA), one of India’s premier business institutions. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed by Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, alongside Prof. Sunil Maheshwari and Prof. Diptesh Ghosh from IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA), marking the beginning of a transformative partnership.

This collaboration is poised to bring a new dimension to management education at Chitkara Business School by integrating IIMA’s globally respected academic rigour, research-based pedagogy, and industry-centric insights. A key focus will be the enhancement of Chitkara University’s flagship MBA in Human Resource Management program, which is already aligned with SHRM global standards. With this partnership, the programme is expected to reach new heights, placing Chitkara University among an elite group of business schools in India.

The MoU outlines a variety of academic synergies including faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, academic immersion programmes, and collaborative thought leadership. These efforts aim to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, equipping students with the tools and perspectives necessary to thrive in an evolving global economy.

The partnership will also strengthen the Human Capital Resource Centre (HCRC) at Chitkara University, empowering it with greater resources and insights for live projects, industry-academia policy dialogues, and research engagements. With IIMA’s support, HCRC will deepen its role in developing future-ready professionals who can lead with innovation and integrity.
