Faculty Embrace Sportsmanship at KHEL UTSAV’25 Organised by Chitkara College of Pharmacy

Celebrating the spirit of fitness, camaraderie, and joyful competition, Chitkara College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Chitkara University Sports Board, hosted the KHEL UTSAV’25 Faculty Sports Event as part of the larger Khel Utsav 2025 celebrations.
The event aimed to foster a sense of well-being, relaxation, and team bonding among the teaching and non-teaching staff. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and friendly rivalry as faculty members competed across multiple indoor sports events.
In Badminton (Men’s), Dr. Sandeep emerged victorious while Dr. Somdut claimed the runner-up position. In the Women’s Badminton category, Dr. Pragati secured the winner’s title, followed by Dr. Diksha as runner-up.
The Dart competition saw intense focus and precision. In the men’s category, Dr. Debarshi took the top spot, with Dr. Manjinder Singh finishing second. Among the women, Dr. Sonia Dhiman claimed victory, with Dr. Rupinder earning the runner-up position.
In Carrom, Dr. Paranjeet showcased great control and strategy to win the title, while Dr. Amit Kumar was the runner-up. The Chess event also witnessed keen competition with Dr. Sonia Dhiman securing her second title of the day and Dr. Manjinder Singh once again finishing in the runner-up slot.
The university applauds the participants for their energetic involvement and sportsmanlike spirit. Events like these play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of health and happiness across the campus community.
