Chitkara University Team Wins National Generative AI Hackathon with Innovation and Excellence

Chitkara University continues to make strides in technological innovation and academic excellence as Team Evolve AI from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Artificial Intelligence (CSE–AI) emerged victorious at the prestigious Trillion Dollar Hackathon. Organised by Jazzee Technologies in collaboration with IIT Bhubaneswar, this event marked Odisha’s first Generative AI-based hackathon, drawing participation from top institutions across the country.

Demonstrating exceptional innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, the team – comprising Mukul Garg (Team Leader), Kushagra Kataria, Moksh Kulshrestha, and Rachit Goyal—clinched the championship title. Their outstanding performance earned them a cash prize of ₹50,000, along with the coveted ‘Best UI/UX Award’, recognising their strategic focus on user-centric design and seamless functionality.

The hackathon challenged participants to harness the power of Generative AI to develop impactful, real-world solutions. Team Evolve AI’s project stood out for its originality, technical depth, and practical applicability—qualities that reflect Chitkara University’s commitment to encourage hands-on learning and industry-ready competencies among students.
