On April 8, 2025, Chitkara University, Punjab, organised a one-day Free Medical Camp at the Fleming Block, reaffirming its commitment to student and staff well-being. The initiative was a joint effort by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Chitkara College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Park Healing Touch Hospital, Ambala.

Focused on preventive healthcare and early diagnosis, the camp provided a wide range of free health services for the university community. A dedicated team of doctors and specialists from Park Healing Touch Hospital offered blood pressure and sugar testing, weight monitoring, eye and dental check-ups, orthopaedic assessments, and general consultations with MD physicians. Attendees also received free medications based on prescriptions, ensuring accessible and holistic care.

The event was executed with precision and care, thanks to the NSS in-charge and a team of student volunteers who efficiently managed registrations, guided participants, and coordinated with the medical staff. Their dedication and teamwork ensured a seamless experience for all.

More than just a health check-up, the camp was a proactive step towards fostering a culture of health awareness on campus. It reflected the university’s broader vision of holistic development—where physical well-being stands alongside academic and personal growth.
