Tech enthusiasts get plugged into the world of TechnoVanza

Computer Society of India (CSI) Student Chapter, under the aegis of Department of Computer Applications, organised a technical event “TechnoVanza” on September 20th, 2018 at Chitkara University, Punjab. Around 50 teams registered for the event from various departments, to participate in the workshop on Google Assistant and a competition based on Google Assistant Libraries.

The resource person for the workshop Associate Professor Dr. Amandeep Bhullar, Department of Computer Applications, gave the students hands-on experience of Google Assistant libraries. The competition was judged by the resource person along with the CSI core team members. Students Akshit and Chetan from CSE bagged the first prize, followed by Aditya and Saurabh from CSE who won the second position. Dhanraj and Shreya from BCA were placed third.

Dr. Jaiteg Singh, Dean & Professor, Computer Applications Department, gave away prizes to the winning teams. He applauded the efforts of Dr. Amandeep Bhullar and CSI core team for conducting the event successfully. Mr. Preetinder Singh Brar, Program In-charge, Computer Applications Department, facilitated the CSI core team by presenting them with appreciation certificates.
