Sameer Sharma

After Graduating from Chitkara, I worked with multibillion dollar organisations like HCL and E*TRADE Financial and was instrumental in providing technology consultancy/implementation to Indian start-ups like ‘Indian Health Organisation (Now an Aetna Company)’. But, I had plans to be an entrepreneur and that dream was given wings by my Alma Mater. I came back and Chitkara hand holded me in my initiative and “Trideal” was formed. As a Founder of Trideal, I had set it’s core strategy ensuring that it met the changing demands of users and merchant partners to strengthen their businesses. It was a roaring success and it was acquired by littleapp. Post acquisition of littleapp, am now a part of PayTM, and for all this glory that I achieved, I owe my whole hearted gratitude to my Alma Mater. Coming from a small border area town in punjab, Chitkara gave me an identity and now I have a keen interest in encouraging entrepreneurship among youth from tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Today, I have 10+ years of experience in Technology, Marketing Automation and HyperlocalSpace. I am thankful to extremely amazing initiative of Chitkara Alumni Network to connect the Alumni dots across the World, making us Chitkarian’s once again and now, forever.
