When you are put through the grind in College, you don’t usually realize you are gearing up for the bigger battles that lie ahead in life! Today, when I look back and reflect on where my professional journey actually started, I feel humbled by the fact that it actually started at my Alma Mater -Chitkara ! It gave me immense opportunities and an ability to express myself without inhibitions. Those experiences instilled a confidence in me to step out of my comfort zone, travel the world, learn about new cultures, venture into unknown territories and make a mark for myself!

In my current role as Senior Program Manager at Dish, when I come across new challenges, my mantra for success is to analyze the problem at hand, evaluate all options and pick the one that is the best suited solution at the time – something I started practicing at Chitkara. Whether it’s solution architecture issue in Oracle ERP, a critical finance project deadline or a strategic merger & acquisition, I am ready to take on any challenge that comes my way. My interactions with Chitkara faculty were not just on the curriculum, I feel they were focused on making me a successful corporate professional. My heartfelt gratitude to Chitkara staff who are nurturing and shaping up careers of individuals like me. Here’s a message to individuals starting their professional journey – keep on learning in life, treat challenges as growth opportunities, build strong relationships and focus on thought leadership – your dreams will come true! It’s indeed an overwhelming feeling to connect back to my Alma Mater and can’t thank Chitkara Alumni Network enough to make this happen.
