Yoga Workshop at Chitkara Happiness Centre Boosts Student Well-being and Focus

Chitkara Happiness Centre organised a Yoga Workshop on 27th August 2025, conducted by Mr. Pradeep Kumar Yogi. During this wellness session, students were guided through ten rounds of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation), focusing on proper breathing and posture for each movement. The sequence included key asanas such as Pranamasana (Prayer Pose), Hasta Uttanasana (Raised Arms Pose), Padahastasana (Hand to Foot Pose), Ashwa Sanchalanasana (Equestrian Pose), Dandasana (Stick Pose), Ashtanga Namaskar (Salute with Eight Parts), Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) and Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog Pose).
By participating in the workshop, students improved their flexibility, sharpened focus and gained a deeper awareness of the long-term benefits of practicing yoga regularly. The event contributed to building a culture of mindfulness and well-being, highlighting the university’s commitment to holistic growth and physical wellness.
