Students Shine at Motion Mania 2025 with Stellar Wins
The Department of Physiotherapy, Chitkara School of Health Sciences, in collaboration with the University Sports Board, organised Motion Mania Students Sports Fest 2025, celebrating athletic excellence and spirited participation across a range of events.
The fest brought together students from various departments to compete in games that tested endurance, precision and teamwork. Dart, Tug of War and Arm Wrestling proved to be the biggest crowd-pullers, keeping spectators engaged with their energy and competitive intensity.
In Dart, Prachi won the Gold Medal, followed by Jasmeen Kaur with Silver and Jiya with Bronze. The Carrom Board event saw Navpreet Kaur secure Gold, Agam take Silver and Chahat claim Bronze. In Arm Wrestling (Men), Shakir earned Gold, Aumsatya won Silver and Hardik received Bronze, while in the Women’s category, Sargundeep bagged Gold, with Kritika Puri and Ravleen winning Silver and Bronze respectively.
Table Soccer witnessed Saksham clinching Gold, Sargam taking Silver and Priyanshu earning Bronze. In Pickleball, Jeshna emerged as the Gold medallist, followed by Himanshi Arora with Silver and Harshita Minhas with Bronze.
The Tug of War event saw Team Armaan grab the Gold Medal, with Team Kanika and Team Tanish finishing with Silver and Bronze respectively. In Badminton, Aayan, Harmeet and Krishna won Gold, Silver and Bronze in the Men’s category, while Suhani, Shivasmi and Harshika triumphed in the Women’s round. Volleyball concluded the fest on a high note, with Team Aadit taking Gold, Team Amandeep Singh Bedi earning Silver and Team Anirudh finishing with Bronze.
Aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals), Motion Mania 2025 reinforced the importance of health, collaboration and holistic student development through sports.
