Chitkara University Marks World Heart Day with Awareness and Poster Competitions

The National Service Scheme, in collaboration with the Chitkara School of Health Sciences, Chitkara University, organised an event to commemorate World Heart Day, focused on awareness and student engagement around heart health.

The program featured a talk by Dr. Arun Kochar, Additional Director Cardiology, Fortis Hospital, Mohali, who addressed students and faculty on cardiovascular health.

Following the session, students participated in a poster-making and scientific poster presentation competition, presenting their understanding of heart health through visual and academic formats. Winners were recognised at the conclusion of the competitions.

The initiative reflected Chitkara University’s continued emphasis on integrating health awareness within its academic and co-curricular environment.
