Chitkara University Holds Blood Donation Camp in Collaboration with Rajindra Hospital

The National Service Scheme, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Applied Engineering at Chitkara University, organised a blood donation camp in association with Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, under the ‘Veins to Village’ initiative.

The camp saw participation from students, faculty and staff members, leading to the collection of approximately 300 units of blood. A medical team from Rajindra Hospital conducted the donations and ensured that all procedures followed standard safety and hygiene protocols. Donors were given refreshments, a donor card and a certificate of appreciation after their contribution.

The camp is part of the university’s ongoing National Service Scheme activities that connect campus initiatives with community healthcare needs.
