Chitkara Happiness Center Hosts “The Canvas of Emotions” for Children’s Day

Chitkara Happiness Center organised “Canvas of Emotions”, in collaboration with the Department of Allied Health Sciences and Chitkara Law School. Led by Dr. Nayanika Singh, a certified art and mindfulness practitioner, the event celebrated Children’s Day by creating a warm, reflective space for students to reconnect with their childhood emotions and inner child.
The session kicked off with a Childhood Memory Visualisation activity, accompanied by the nostalgic song “Woh Din Bhi Kya Din The,” transitioning smoothly into drawing those cherished moments. Participants then explored their life journeys through the River of Life or Tree of Life exercise, crafted Childhood Collages (with the top three honoured as “Stars of the Show” and awarded prizes), scribbled sorrows away for personality insights from Dr. Nayanika, and took an Online IQ Test to uncover cognitive patterns.
Through this thoughtful fusion of art, emotion and fun, “Canvas of Emotions” offered students a meaningful Children’s Day, helping them relive memories, express feelings and rediscover the joy of their inner child.
