Chitkara University Hosts Mondragon University Students for an Immersive Indian Experience

Chitkara University hosted a student cohort from Mondragon University, Spain for the “Doing Business in Asia” program organised by Chitkara Business School. The program aimed to help students understand Asia’s changing business environment through academic sessions, industry exposure, experiential learning, and cultural activities.
The program began with a welcome and orientation session that encouraged interaction and cultural exchange among students and faculty members. During the program, students took part in academic discussions on global business practices, innovation, and emerging markets, gaining insights into different aspects of doing business in Asia.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University, said, “International academic programs give students the opportunity to learn from different cultures and perspectives. Such experiences help students build stronger global understanding while learning in a collaborative environment.”
As part of the program, the students also visited the Indian Institute of Advanced Study and the Golden Temple. These visits gave them an opportunity to learn more about India’s history, culture, architecture, and spiritual heritage beyond the classroom.
The program concluded with academic learning, cultural interactions, and collaborative activities that encouraged meaningful exchange between students from both institutions. Through such international initiatives, Chitkara University continues to create opportunities for global learning and cross-cultural engagement.
