Exploring the Future: Smart Aerial Vision Workshop on Drone Technology and Advanced Data Analytics
Chitkara University is all set to host an exciting offline event titled “Smart Aerial Vision: The Future of Drone Technology and Analytics”, scheduled to take place from April 21st to 25th, 2025, at Faraday Hall, 2nd Floor, Edison Block. This intensive five-day workshop will run from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm each day, bringing together experts, scholars, and enthusiasts to delve into the latest advancements in drone technology and its applications in analytics.
Organised by the Centre for Research Impact & Outcome (CRIO) at Chitkara University, Punjab, the event is chaired by Dr. Amit Mittal and Dr. V.K. Jadon. The event’s leadership also includes Dr. Shalli Rani and Dr. Ayush Dogra, who are serving as Chairperson and Conveners. Supporting coordination is being led by Dr. Ashu Taneja and Dr. Ankita Sharma.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and is being conducted in collaboration with NIT Jalandhar and the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, CUIET – Chitkara University. It is designed to offer deep insights into how drone technology is shaping the future, with practical and analytical applications across industries.
With cutting-edge discussions and hands-on experiences, this event promises to be a significant knowledge-sharing platform for participants interested in the evolving world of unmanned aerial systems.
