Dr Sangeeta Pant, Dean, CCE invited to conduct a workshop on CLIL Methodology by SIU, Pune

Dr Sangeeta Pant, Dean, Chitkara College of Education was invited by Symbiosis International University, Pune, to conduct a workshop on “CLIL Methodology: Focus on Comprehension Strategies and Activities” for in-service teachers of Private & Government schools of Maharashtra. The content-rich and informative session by Dr Pant, highlighted the aims of CLIL@India with special reference to in-service teachers in Pune, aiming at developing a new model of bilingual education. The workshop was a part of the International Teacher Training Program under CLIL@India Project.

Dr Pant was also part of the symposium, “Multilingual Education in India: The Three Language Formula & the Educational Context in India”, chaired by Dr Madhavi Tandon, Head & Professor, Symbiosis Schools Central Directorate, Pune. Other educationists who attended the symposium included, Dr Deepesh Chandrasekharan, Dr Lalita Vartak and Dr Sophia Gaikwad. The symposium was part of the 5-day intensive teacher training program.
